About Us :: Parish Financial Council

The Parish Financial Council is responsible to assist the pastor in rendering an account of the finances of the parish to the Archbishop. They are to assist the pastor in making the appropriate reports to the faithful of the parish annually concerning parish revenues and expenses. They are responsible to provide council, when requested, concerning general care and administration of parish property and finances. These responsibilities can be fulfilled by assisting the pastor in the preparation and arrangement of data for the annual budget; providing counsel in regard to: decisions concerning parish collections, significant administrative issues, alienation of assets and property, reviewing on at least a semi-annual basis the financial status of the parish. Since the parish financial council is separate and distinct from the parish pastoral council, the pastor ensures appropriate communication between the two councils.

Members of the Saint Joseph Parish Financial Council: Julie Cahill, Sean Varano, Chuck Mason, Brian Griffin.
